What is AEO and why does it matter?

AEO (Answer Engine Optimisation) is the practice of structuring your content so AI-powered tools - ChatGPT, Perplexity, Google AI Overviews, and others - cite your site when answering relevant questions. As more searches start with an AI instead of a search engine, being present in those answers is becoming as important as ranking on page one.

How long does SEO take to show results?

Technical fixes like Core Web Vitals improvements and crawl issues can show results within 2-4 weeks. Organic ranking improvements for competitive keywords typically take 3-6 months. AEO results - appearing in AI-generated answers - can be faster once structured data and content signals are in place.

Do you do content writing / link building?

Our focus is technical SEO and AEO. We provide content structure, entity, and Q&A recommendations, but don't produce content or run link-building campaigns. We can recommend partners for those.

Can you work on a site built by someone else?

Yes. We audit and fix sites built on any platform - Next.js, WordPress, Shopify, Webflow, or custom code. We'll flag anything that's platform-constrained during the audit.

What is llms.txt and do I need it?

llms.txt is an emerging standard (similar to robots.txt) that tells AI crawlers how to access and use your content. Setting it up correctly can improve how AI engines read and reference your site. We include this in the Optimisation plan.

Do you set up Google Analytics and Search Console?

Yes - proper GA4 setup with event tracking and funnel measurement is included in all plans. Search Console setup and verification is also included if it's not already configured.
